Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy sets out your rights when cancelling your MisiCerdas subscription and the circumstances under which refunds are issued. We aim to be fair and transparent.
1. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page inside the parent dashboard.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to the service until that date.
- You will not be charged again after the cancellation date.
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund for the remaining days of the current period (see Section 2).
2. Refund Eligibility
Monthly Subscriptions
Refunds for monthly subscriptions are not issued once the billing period has started, except in the following circumstances:
- The service was unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to a fault on our end during your billing period.
- You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charge, charge after cancellation).
Annual Subscriptions
If you subscribed to an annual plan:
- You may request a pro-rated refund within 30 days of the subscription start date.
- The refund amount will be the annual fee minus the cost of the months already used (calculated at the monthly rate).
- After 30 days, no refund is issued for the remaining period, but you may cancel to prevent auto-renewal.
Free Trial Period
If your subscription began with a free trial, no charge is made during the trial period. Cancellation before the trial ends incurs no cost and requires no refund.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances
No refunds will be issued in the following cases:
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date
- Your child did not use the service during the billing period
- Dissatisfaction with learning outcomes (we encourage you to try the service during any trial period)
- Requests made after the applicable refund window has closed
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@misicerdas.my with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Your registered email address
- The date of the charge and amount
- The reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, subject to your bank's processing time.
5. Disputes
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us at hello@misicerdas.my before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly.
